EPA Lead Certification Course

What will be covered: EPA’s Renovation, Repair and Painting Final Rule, 40 CFR 745. This important new regulation requires that renovations conducted for compensation must be performed by Certified firms using Certified Renovators.  

Who should attend: Anyone disturbing more than 6 sq. ft. interior and/or 20 sq. ft. exterior of lead paint. Working in residential homes, apartments, child care facilities and schools built pre-1978.

PLEASE NOTE: 

• Classes are limited to 24 participants.
• EPA requires that individuals must be enrolled in a certification course no later than September 30, 2010 and training must be completed by December 31, 2010. 
• Certified Renovators are responsible for documenting the training of their workers.
