Course Description:
This course provides ground workers with essential knowledge to work safely around cranes on active jobsites. Participants will learn key roles and responsibilities, common crane types and components, and how ground conditions affect stability. The training covers hazard recognition—including fall zones, swing zones, and power line risks—along with safe practices such as exclusion zones, load guidance, and proper communication. It also introduces basic crane signaling and rigging awareness, emphasizing inspection and reporting to prevent incidents and ensure a safe working environment.
